Marty attained his Pharmacy Degree from Wayne State University in 1967. In 1970, Marty helped start Model Neighborhoods HMO. This HO later split up into 2 HMO’s: Total Health Care and the Wellness plan. Along the years, Marty became a member of The American Pharmaceutical Association, Michigan Pharmacist Association, Wayne County Pharmacists Association, and Rho Pi Phi Fraternity.
Marty has been married for 36 years to his wife Lynda. He has two children, his daughter Karen who is now a pharmacist living in Las Vega, Nevada and his son David, who works in computer IT in Troy, MI. Marty and Lynda have lived in West Bloomfield, MI for the past 33 years.
