Mohamed Sohoubah, R.Ph.
CEO
PharMor Pharmacy, LLC
Mohamed Sohoubah is the President and CEO of PharMor Pharmacy, LLC,
a developer, licensor and operator of independent retail pharmacies.
While in studies at Wayne State University Mohamed Sohoubah began his pharmacy career with an internship at Arbor Drugs. He graduated at the top of his class from Wayne State University School of Pharmacy in 1998. He accepted a position at Arbor Drug as a pharmacist upon graduation. Within six months, Arbor Drugs recognized his innate ability to lead, manage and streamline operations, therefore offering him his first management position in January of 1999.
Arbor Drug was acquired by CVS/Pharmacy in mid-1999 during which time Mr. Sohoubah was named by both CVS and Arbor Drug as a transition team manager whereby he coordinated multiple pharmacy transitions and implemented new CVS standard operating procedures. After the transition, CVS recognized Mr. Sohoubah’s management and leadership skills and offered him key pharmacy management positions at various CVS/Pharmacy locations where he was given the challenge of turning around low performing pharmacies. With quick assessment and review, he developed and implemented several key procedural changes to reach that goal. His directives touched on diverse areas such as staffing, operations, policy implementation and most importantly, he guided improvements in the relationship between pharmacist and patient.
After ten years of solid management and operational pharmacy experience, Mohamed Sohoubah began his independent chain of PharMor Pharmacy locations with a single site in 2003. His ambition is that PharMor Pharmacy can succeed in today’s challenging pharmacy environment by filling a need for services that the current retail pharmacies fall short on. Services such as: free home delivery; quality personal pharmacy relationships; and various programs to assist seniors with medication adherence. Filling this niche with these core services, along with the availability of specialty medications and custom compounds, is the pride of PharMor Pharmacy.
Mr. Sohoubah has built a successful PharMor Pharmacy model for pharmacists interested in co-owning their own independent pharmacy. He has recruited pharmacists that are top-notch in their communities, providing them with the necessary tools in addition to the PharMor Pharmacy brand.
His long-term goal is to continue adding new PharMor Pharmacy locations throughout Michigan and eventually to other States as well.
Recognized by his peers for his dynamic leadership experience, Mr. Sohoubah is a forward thinker, excellent administrator and effective developer. In addition, he possesses strong networking, interpersonal, organizational and decision-making skills.
